Napoleon Hill Biography

Napoleon Hill
“Plans are inert and useless
without sufficient power to translate them into action.”
–Napoleon Hill
Napoleon Hill was born into poverty in 1883 in a small one-room cabin in Virginia. He began his writing career as a journalist for a small town newspaper and worked his way through law school.  He became a respected attorney and a best-selling writer on the principles of success.
In his capacity as a journalist, he became acquainted with steel magnate, Andrew Carnegie, a meeting that gave new direction to Napoleon’s life.  Carnegie challenged Hill to interview the greatest business minds, the most successful leaders of his day, in order to discover the common elements or principles of success.  Napoleon took on the challenge and began to research and explore.  He found that many of the top performers had a similar way of thinking and then acting, which contributed to their superior achievement.  He compiled his results into several books, notably Think and Grow Rich and The Law of Success, which became best-selling classics.
Many thousands credit Napoleon Hill’s book Think and Grow Rich as the beginning foundation of their financial and personal success. Hill passed away in November 1970 after a long and successful career writing, teaching, and lecturing about the principles of success. His work stands as a monument to individual achievement and is a cornerstone of modern motivation.
Millions of people continue to learn from his life-changing books and audio programs.

The Key to Making Life Unique and Worthwhile by JimRohn

The key to making life really unique and worthwhile is to share. Sharing has a certain unique magic of its own. Here’s what I learned in sharing ideas. If you share an idea with ten different people, they get to hear it once, and you get to hear it ten times. So here’s part of self-interest for yourself, getting you even better prepared for the future. Share ideas. Share with your family, share with the people around you, share with other employees, share with your colleagues. Because, by sharing, two things happen. Here’s what we call it. I don’t know how to explain it, but I do know it happens. And I don’t know all about how it happens or why it happens, it just happens. When one person shares with another, two things happen. The audience could be transformed, and so could the speaker. If you share with someone else, they could be transformed. You may have dropped in at the right time. This may be their moment. They’ve got three numbers dialed into the lock already, and...
